Well the last checkered flag has dropped Saturday, August 28 on the regular season of racing on the banked 1/5 mile. The point champions are now in the books for 2010.
Promoters, Archie & Sally Kuntz said they couldn’t be happier with the car counts and the crowd numbers this year. There were 176 race teams that raced at Brooklyn this summer from five states.
Now it’s time to get ready for the Fall Nationals, September 23, 24, 25. On the 23rd will be a practice night and set up campers. Friday night starting at 7:00 P.M. will be all heat races and Pit Party. Saturday night will start at 6:00 P.M. with all of the feature events.

Along with all the mowing, painting, and dirt work the raceway is trying to have an electronic scoring system in place for the Fall Nationals. We have been working with a scoring company in California which is using Brooklyn Raceway as an experimental track. We will be using the electronically scoring for both the Figure 8 and oval track. Brooklyn will be the first track in the Nation to use their companies system.
Archie and Sally said, “... we have to stay on the leading edge in racing if we want to keep our track numbers growing and putting on the best shows for our crowd.”
This year at the Fall Nationals we will have six classes racing with three Figure Eight, Stock, Pro-Stock and Open, one class of two man cruisers and front wheel drives, plus the Micro Mini Sprinters. We are hoping to have close to 200 cars. Now everyone pray for nice weather for the Fall Nationals!
